Dr. Sisamone Sithirajvongsa, research team leader of the mapping and situation analysis of relevant legislative frameworks, policies and strategies concerning the teacher force in Lao PDR, presented the draft report to 23 participants (8F) who were the Member of the responsible Committee. The compiled comments and and recommendation from the meeting were reflected in the revised report which was submitted to UNESCO Bangkok for final review before the national consultation meeting on 21 August 2021.

23 participants (7F) from MoES, line ministries, TTCs and UNESCO Bangkok attended the meeting to review (i) main findings from the mapping and situation analysis of relevant legislative frameworks, policies and strategies concerning the teacher force in Lao PDR; (ii) draft workplan of the comprehensive national teacher policy development by Dr. Sisamone Sithirajvongsa, research team leader; and (iii) five-year development plan for Education and Sports sector by Department of Teacher Education, MoES.
The responsible committee agreed with the draft development plan and is committed to actively participated in the development process of the comprehensive national teacher policy.
