Lillian Pride is a PhD candidate in the Horticultural Crop Physiology lab, where she works under the advisory of Dr. Shinsuke Agehara. Hailing from Missouri, Lillian completed her B.S and M.Sc at Iowa State and UF respectively. Her PhD project focuses on strawberry management practices and root physiology, and aims to increase efficiency and reduce environmental impacts. Post graduation, Lillian looks forward to giving birth to her second child and fulfilling her long term goals of helping people grow their own food.
