This logo is a coat of arms which includes four symbols:

• PEOPLE: graduate students, postdocs, interns, scholars, and associate members represented and served by the organization.   

• FLORIDA: home base for GCPSA members' graduate education, research, and professional development.

• GLOBE WITH ACADEMIC CAP: symbolizing the diverse geographical origin of GCPSA members and global impact of the research they participate in. 

• MICROSCOPE: symbolizing research as the unifying field among GCPSA members.

This logo also incorporates the old GCPSA logo in recognition of the history of the organization. It also uses the official colors of the university: screen orange #FA4616, screen blue #0021A5.
