Alvaro Bautista is a passionate master’s student in the Horticultural Sciences department, working under the advisory of Dr. Shinsuke Agehara. Hailing from Honduras, where he previously received his bachelor’s degree from Zamorano University, Alvaro came to the GCREC to work on exciting projects related to the physiology of hops, a budding industry in Florida. After completing his master’s degree, Alvaro aims to pursue his Ph.D. and continue to support Florida agriculture.
