Allan Busuulwa is currently a Ph.D. student at the University of Florida, specializing in Entomology and Nematology. His masters were under supervision of Dr. Sriyanka Lahiri and focused on integrated pest management, where he explored biological control methods and the molecular mechanisms behind insecticide resistance. He is particularly interested in the interaction between pesticides and beneficial insects like predatory mites. Allan aspires to be a globally recognized researcher, entrepreneur, and leader in his field. Outside of academia, he enjoys cooking and traveling, embracing diverse cultures and new experiences.
