Meet Uchechukwu "Uche" Ilodibe is a Ph.D. student from the UF Smart Agriculture Lab under supervision of Dr. Dana Choi. With a Mechanical Engineering degree from University of Florida, Uche is now applying his expertise in Agricultural & Biological Engineering to develop innovative solutions that automate traditional farming practices, making agriculture more efficient and sustainable. Originally from Nigeria, Uche is passionate about food and loves discussing cultural dishes and strategies to improve food security. When he is not in the lab, you’ll find him enjoying mystery novels, experimenting with new recipes, playing chess, or cheering on his favorite sports teams.
