Learning Objectives:

* After completing an introductory lesson, participants will be able to accurately discuss the benefits for using Universal Design for Learning to plan instruction.

You began this module by completing the introduction to Universal Design for Learning and learning a little bit about each of the three guidelines. In this learning activity, we'll take that a step further and put some of that knowledge into action.

This video from AHEAD gives another look at what UDL is, what those core guidelines are, and how it works. Additional examples serve to help drive home what just what UDL is and what its benefits are.

This video from TEDx Talks discusses the benefits of Universal Design for Learning from both the perspective of students with disabilities and inclusion. Remember that UDL is much more than making material, activities, and assessments accessible, and this video gives very good information about the benefits on all students.
