Ms. Emma
Hello my name is Emma Eckelberg and I am looking forward to teaching at UDA! I have been dancing for over 10 years and with previous training in ballet, tap, jazz, and contemporary. I am currently attending the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point with a major in dance and minors in exercise performance and business. While at UWSP I performed in our fully student run shows: Forthcoming and Afterimages along with dancing in our spring semester show Danstage! I also had the privilege of attending American College Dance Association’s (ACDA) conference where I was able to take guest artist classes/workshops, attend and dance in performances and sit in on feedback sessions. Additionally over the past two years I have the opportunity to work for the UWSP Summer Dance Intensives!
It is my goal to make my classes a safe and respectful space for learning and growth. I am excited to meet and work with my students and families this year!
Ms. Nikita
Hello, my name is Nikita Pilz, I am the new tap and ballet instructor. I have been dancing for 15 years, having trained in all styles during my time at UDA. I developed a love for all things ballet at the age of 2 and have been dancing ever since. I started doing my own choreography at 8 years old when I competed my first ballet solo. I went on to do several of my own routines at competitions as well as doing choreography for others. When I am not at the studio, I will be attending UWSP, majoring in Political Science on a pre-law path.
