Hello my name is Kenna Kramer and I am the Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Pilates and Musical Theatre instructor for the 2023-2024 season. I have been dancing for 20 years and I have trained in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, modern, lyrical, musical theatre, and hip-hop. In May of 2023 I graduated from UW- Stevens Point with a Bachelors of Arts in Dance and a Bachelors of Science in Psychology with Summa Cub Laude and National Honors Society of Dance Arts. Throughout college I performed in Afterimages and Danstage where my tap choreography was fully produced in the Student produced show. I also received my Pilates Mat Certification through Balanced Body, and I am excited to share Pilates with my students because it truly transformed my dancing. Since my sophomore year of college I have been taking classes and intensives with the Chicago Tap Theatre with hopes of auditioning one day. In the future I also plan on pursuing a Masters degree in Dance Therapy. I believe in treating all students equally with kindness and compassion. Class is a place for learning and improving not perfection. I value work ethic, drive, determination, class etiquette, and willingness to try new things and push yourself out of your comfort zone in my classes.
Ms. Emma
Hello my name is Emma Eckelberg and I am looking forward to teaching at UDA! I have been dancing for over 10 years and with previous training in ballet, tap, jazz, and contemporary. I am currently attending the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point with a major in dance and minors in exercise performance and business. While at UWSP I performed in our fully student run shows: Forthcoming and Afterimages along with dancing in our spring semester show Danstage! I also had the privilege of attending American College Dance Association’s (ACDA) conference where I was able to take guest artist classes/workshops, attend performances and feedback sessions. It is my goal to make my classes a safe and respectful space for learning and growth. I am excited to meet and work with my students and families this year!
