Spend a full session combing through FAST's picture archives of Scientific Research events, seminars, courses, and even your personal Facebook, but you won't discover a single self-portrait selfie shared by this student. Phuong may not spend much time on social media, so what was this student doing at the moment?

Nguyen Quang Phuong, a student of the Vietnam-American Advanced Program, Faculty of Advanced Science and Technology, is the central character in this Honor corner. After just a few interactions with Phuong, everyone can sense the student's attention and thoroughness in every task assigned to him. The focused working style and technical manner radiate the obvious atmosphere of a true engineering student.

Going a little further back in time, this student's accomplishments are quite remarkable.When she was still a junior high school student, Phuong won the second prize in online math and English at the national level; First Prize in Online Math at City level.Despite passing the entrance test for both Math and English majors in high school, Phuong chose to focus in English. At the time, Phuong began competing in the Union of Science and Technology Association's RoboDnic competition. Phuong was named Outstanding Student three years in a row in high school.

Entering the University, Phuong pursued the field of Embedded Systems and IoT of the Vietnam-US Advanced Program, Faculty of Advanced Science and Technology, the University of Science and Technology - University of Danang. Phuong is always a good support for "teammates" in group exercises and activities, thanks to his large stature, serious working manner, and extensive knowledge. It is simple to perceive the clear, thorough, cohesive, and scientific presentation in tests, reports, and presentations, for example. When entering the practice room for electronic courses, this student was especially attentive in executing the practical exercises that the teacher directed, even going above and beyond the prescribed timetable. It is believed that Phuong earned scholarships to encourage his to study throughout the semesters.

Phuong is not difficult to find. Outside of class, Phuong visits his favorite research location: C117, the student room for scientific study. When the facility staff visited room C117 to inspect the equipment, they met with Phuong and said, "I'll submit a report on the state of the equipment in my room!" Despite being on the Organizing Committee for the Maze Runner event at the time, Phuong still supplied a list of equipment status the next day. A short tale about this pupil that, once known, must make the Faculty Leaders and teachers proud of the 'product' that FAST is producing. When the teacher came by the C117 lab and inquired about the wave meters. "Yes, this computer is operating perfectly," Phuong said strongly and immediately. When asked about his favorite research direction, Phuong said that he would pursue the field of Electronics, working in fields using knowledge of circuits and electronics.
