EXCHANGE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM TRAINING & RESEARCH
Congratulations to 3 students of Then Advanced Program, FACULTY OF ADVANCED SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY (FAST)
Nguyen Huu Thang – 14ECE
Ly Nguyen Hoang Phuc – 14ES
Ho Hoang Viet – 14ES
excellently received the Capstone Project Research Exchange Program scholarship in Taiwan. Funding is provided by the University of Technology, National Chung Cheng University (CCU), from December 17, 2018 to June 17, 2019.
Students at the Faculty of Advanced Science and Technology have the opportunity to enrolling in Capstone Projects throughout their last years of university; after graduation, they are always 'hunted' by big businesses and recruited directly in the lecture hall. Capstone Project is essentially a type of practical project in which students collaborate with businesses for around 6 months of their last year of school under the supervision of specialists from significant enterprises. Students get to test their ideas before putting them into action as they work on the Capstone Project. And at the end of this internship, several students were chosen for official positions with that business. At the Advanced Program of the Faculty of Advanced Science and Technology, this model has been implemented among students since 2008.
Ho Hoang Viet, a typical 14ES student, expressed his delight at receiving an exchange scholarship as well as the opportunity to complete the Capstone Project overseas. However, many challenges lay ahead, and Viet feels that this will be a fantastic chance, a great experience before graduation, to become an excellent engineer.
It is known that this time a group of 3 students: Ho Hoang Viet - Ly Nguyen Hoang Phuc - Nguyen Huu Thang will implement a project related to Artificial Intelligence (AI). With a good background knowledge, excellent thinking, this group of students shows a high spirit of determination to conquer the very high difficulty of any AI topic as well as the rigorous requirements that professors from College of Engineering, National Chung Cheng University (CCU) pose.
On this 12/14/2018, they will set foot in a new environment, new experiences and new challenges are waiting there.
Wish them all have a good time and above all, try to fight to successfully implement this Capstone Project!
