The purpose of the Tū Rangatira Tū Pakari Ai – Leadership Practice Inquiry Tool is to have you reflect on your own leadership practice and enhance or improve on it as part of your on-going development and growth as a leader in Māori medium.

Through knowing and understanding your own growth and development, strengths and weaknesses it is hoped you will take responsibility to progress your own leadership. Attending professional development courses, enlisting support and guidance from others, online or elsewhere may become part that journey.

The developers of this tool, encourage you to use Tū Rangatira Tū Pakari Ai and regularly take time out  to evaluate your leadership practice.

At the heart of this tool is a desire to encourage you to grow as a leader in our kura, to be effective and lead the successful education of mokopuna/ākonga so that they, in turn, can enjoy educational success as Māori. That success is very much in your hands.
