Self-evaluation and self-rating score 

The self-evaluation and self-rating score below presents a simple self-rating scale matched to the key roles of leadership, and is promoted as an instrument to enable regular self-evaluation and measurement of leadership practice in each of the leadership strands.

The self-rating scale includes a set of measures matched against the three themes of head, heart and hands as these relate to  roles of leadership:

• Head - Knowledge and understanding

• Heart  - Empathy and commitment

• Hands - Participation and hands on involvement
