CONVENCIÓN SOBRE EL ESTATUTO DE LOS REFUGIADOS

ARTICLE 2

General Obligations

Every refugee has duties to the country in which he finds himself, which require in particular that he conform to its laws and regulations as well as to measures taken for the maintenance of public order. 

ARTICLE 3 

Non-discrimination

 The Contracting States shall apply the provisions of this Convention to refugees without discrimination as to race, religion or country of origin.

 ARTICLE 4

Religion

 The Contracting States shall accord to refugees within their territories treatment at least as favourable as that accorded to their nationals with respect to freedom to practice their religion and freedom as regards the religious education of their children.

ARTICLE 5 

Rights granted apart from this Convention 

Nothing in this Convention shall be deemed to impair any rights and benefits granted by a Contracting State to refugees apart from this Convention.

ARTÍCULO 2

Obligaciones generales

 Todo refugiado tiene, respecto del país donde se encuentra, deberes que, en especial, entrañan la obligación de acatar sus leyes y reglamentos, así como las medidas adoptadas para el mantenimiento del orden público. 

ARTÍCULO 3 

No discriminación

Los Estados Contratantes aplicarán las disposiciones del presente Convenio a los refugiados sin discriminación por motivos de raza, religión o país de origen.

ARTÍCULO 4 

Religión

Los Estados Contratantes brindarán a los refugiados que se encuentren en sus territorios un trato al menos tan favorable como el brindado a sus ciudadanos con respecto a la libertad de practicar su religión y la libertad en lo que respecta a la educación religiosa de sus hijos.

ARTÍCULO 5

Derechos otorgados aparte de esta Convención

Nada de lo dispuesto en el presente Convenio se considerará en contra y en perjuicio de los derechos y beneficios concedidos por un Estado contratante a los refugiados al margen del presente Convenio.

The Contracting States shall apply the provisions of this Convention to refugees without discrimination as to race, religion or country of origin.

Los Estados Contratantes aplicarán las disposiciones del presente Convenio a los refugiados sin discriminación por motivos de raza, religión o país de origen.
