Rotary Club of Trail
Friendship and service are at the heart of what it means to be part of the Rotary Club of Trail and the international community of Rotarians.
As the Rotary Club of Trail celebrates its 90th anniversary, we are taking stock of the myriad of ways our members and Friends of Rotary have made a difference in the lives of people, ranging from seniors housing and care (Jubilee Manor, the Villa and the former KIRO Manor), major fund-raising for the Cancer Lodge in Kelowna; tree planting and other environmental restoration projects and donations many other community projects. On the international front, we support the efforts of the Rotary Foundation to eliminate polio from our planet and partner with Rotary Clubs abroad to support many projects.
Motivations for joining Rotary vary: the desire to serve, make new business connections and learn about all sorts of things from our weekly speakers. What keeps many of us in Rotary are friendships and fun.
As president for 2017-18, I encourage you to come and check us out. We have flexible options for membership - including simply helping out on projects as a "Friend of Rotary". Find out how you can meet new people and make a difference..
