Advancing Equity & Social Justice

This website has multiple lesson plans about the Civil Rights Movement, protesting, and more. It is also engaging because it ties subjects to music.

This website has many resources for educators.  There are lesson plans focusing on Identity, Diversity, Justice and Action. There are also beautiful posters that are free to print.

This performance task walks students through 4 different texts, while exploring the question of: Who gets justice & why? It opens the door for conversation around the ideas of equity and justice. All resources, as well as a detailed lesson plan, make this an easy to use resource. Ideally, it would work with best with 8th grade and up.
