How to Join

After reading the rules ENTIRELY, you can apply here. (Sorry, this group is closed for the forseeable future)
We have a private ToyHouse and a public deviantArt gallery where members may optionally archive and interact!
- If you don’t have a TH, WynBird can generate an invite code for you
- If you need an invitation to the TH or dA, let Wyn know on Discord!

We are a 3-3-3 rated creative community

Character Creating

There is no character limit.

Characters MUST have a reference posted to the Discord to participate in the group!

Catch up on our character design rules!
Choose your faction from those currently open to join.
- Be familiar with their culture as some have special requirements or limitations regarding their members.
Create or obtain an image of your character that clearly shows their markings, palette, and any major accessories or features.
- You can draw this yourself or commission someone to draw it for you. If the creator permits it, you can also use linearts, photomanips, and dress up dolls - but make sure to include attribution! AI art is not allowed.
- Some linearts and other resources are available for free to members in the Discord.
In their description, provide basic identification for your character including at minimum name, pronouns, and rank/role.
- Any rank/role listed as "Free to Create" on the faction page is available to new characters. Some roles require a certain level of renown, & a few are restricted to NPCs.
It is also recommended to include a personality, history, and a player consent/comfort list.

(You can fill out whatever is relevant below or link to a more robust doc/bulletin/journal/etc if desired. You can edit this at any time, and request that people not ask you to rp other things with them, but this will serve as a quick and enforceable blanket-guide to your boundaries. This applies to IC content only, TNL does not allow members to discriminate against others on the basis of gender, orientation, religion, etc.)

(Required) How to Submit Characters on Discord

Navigate to the In Character > Characters forum on the Discord
Create a new post for your character and select the relevant faction tags
In the first post, type out their name, rank, role, and any other relevant keywords so that threads can be easily searched, along with a copy of or link to their profile and a reference image.
They can now be seen and searched in the forum by keyword and/or tags!

(Optional) How to Submit to DeviantArt

Join the dA group if you haven't already! Ask WynBird for an invite if you need one.

Post your character or art on dA
Submit them through the upload page, gallery page, or group page (pictures below)

You can remove them at any time if you no longer want them in the group.

(Optional) How to Submit to ToyHouse

Join the TH group if you haven't already! Ask WynBird for a join code &/or invite if you need one.

Create your character on TH
Submit your character to the TNL group
They and any art/writing you post to their gallery will now be included in the TNL Group's character page!
You can remove them at any time if you no longer want them in the group. You can also hide specific images, stories, or characters, or limit access to specific authorized people using ToyHouse's comprehensive Authorization settings.
