Ocarina Glitch can be performed on house entrances, but only once the door has already been opened. Certain doorways are in convenient locations for the speedrun so we have developed setups to let us get Ocarina Glitch at these places.
Methods for opening the door include:
Dying and reviving with a fairy the frame you open the door
Using an NPC to push you out of the doorway after you open the door
Have a cutscene trigger to cancel you out of the walking animation
In normal gameplay, link will be locked into a walking animation to enter the house the instant the door is opened. These doors have a counter that counts up by one each frame link is holding up while against the door, and resets to 0 when an input changes, when this counter hits 8 it will trigger the door to open and then trigger link to begin their locked animation. Link can be stoped from entering this animation, which will give the player control of link again and still leave the door open.
All current setups involve a death abuse to leave the door open.
Kill the octorock, you must be on at most 1/2 heart
Enter and exit the House with Boots and Bombs equiped (A or B order doesn't matter)
(Optional) Save before continuing for safety, do not save when resetting the trick
Press and Hold both Items, they must both be pressed on the same frame
Keep the Boots button held as link dashes down and bonks into the fence
Pause during the bonk animation and equip the Bow over Bombs
Hold Up and unpause, do not let go of up until link dies
When link lands from the bonk, Press R to roll
After links roll animation has ended, tap the Bow button (make sure link walks after the roll ends but before he touches the door)
(Optional) The order of the roll and the bow can be swapped if prefered
Keep Up held until link dies
The bomb explosion should kill link while the doorway is open
Equip Ocarina and perform OG on the open door to reach Temple of Droplets
Don't have a Fairy:
If you don't have a fairy, the fastest one is to warp to Town, exit to the West (Towards Crenel), and bonk into the Tree that is between you and the Ladder
Don't have any Bombs:
You must leave Fortress of Wind with at least 1 Bomb, if you use your last bomb to do Portal Items you have to reset and do it again, if your last save in Fortress has a low bomb count then you missed the pot before the mitts.
If in the overworld with no bombs, the fastest method of getting bombs (outside of luck drops from cutting grass) is buying 10 from the shop for 30r, you can dig the spot outside Link's house for a 20r drop.
I dashed but no bomb got placed:
You pressed Boots earlier than the Bombs, return to step 2
I did everything, but I entered the house before the bomb hit me:
Check you are not missing a step of the setup
Do not press the dpad prior to starting the dash
Make sure you tap only the Bow and do not tap Boots to animation cancel it
Don't Mash Bow at the end of the roll, do a single press
I died but the door didn't open:
Make sure Boots and Bombs were pressed on the EXACT same frame
Do not drift diagonal at all while dashing
Make sure you complete the Roll and the Bow use before link touches the door
I did the setup correctly but failed the Ocarina Glitch:

Bonk into the tree in LonLon, you must be on at most 1/2 heart
Enter and exit the Ranch with Boots and Sword equiped (A or B order doesn't matter)
(Optional) Save before continuing for safety, do not save when resetting the trick
Hold Down until link is against the bushes
Slash the sword, then instantly interupt that slash with a left facing slash
If more than 2 bushes are destroyed then return to step 2
If a heart drops then damage down to 1/2 heart and return to step 2
If a Beetle spawns, slash again to kill it without moving, continue
If anything else spawns, it does not ruin the setup collecting them
Equip Boots and Bombs (A or B order doesn't matter)
Press and Hold both Items, they must both be pressed on the same frame
While link is Charging his dash, Hold Down
Continue holding until link bonks, pause mid air and equip Gust and Cane
During the unpause, Hold Up
After link lands, tap the Gust Jar Once, and the Cane Twice
The item order does not matter
Link cannot touch the door in between Item uses
Link must walk for at least a frame after using the Gust Jar
Keep Up held until link dies
Equip Ocarina and Boots, then perform OG on the door and continue onto Portal Jump Storage
