Natural Wonders of the World

The world is filled with so many unexplained phenomenal wonders that are so strange that not even Indiana Jones can solve. Let’s jump right in!

1. Northern Lights

An aurora borealis is a beautiful light display that occurs in some parts of the world, mostly high latitude regions. They are caused by disturbances in the magnetosphere caused by solar winds.

2. The Great Barrier Reef

The Great Barrier Reef is the biggest reef in the world. Many creatures live there. It is very colorful and full of fish. It is located near Australia in the Coral Sea. It contains over 2,900 reefs.

3. Mount Everest

Mount Everest is the largest mountain above sea level. You’d understand if you see it. It is TITANIC (except that its not a ship so it can’t crash into an iceberg!) Located in the Mahalangur Himal sub-range of the Himalayas, this China-Nepal border is beautiful.

4. The Grand Canyon

The Grand Canyon is a really cool canyon located in Arizona. It is bigger than Rhode Island and has many caves hidden in it. There are many mysteries there, like the age and a phenomenon.

5. Disappearing Lake

You’ll never get a good explanation-on May 2007, a lake in Patagonia, Chile, disappeared. Like, seriously. It left behind a 30 meter deep pit along with some icebergs and soil. But this wasn’t a small lake, it was 5 miles long. Even the river that flowed from the lake reduced to a tiny stream.

6. The Bermuda Triangle

The Bermuda Triangle is a very mysterious place. Many people have gone missing and no one knows why or how.

7. The Crooked Forest

The crooked forest is full of crooked trees. You may think that it’s normal, but all the trees are curved in the same way, they are all straight except for a curve in the bottom. No one knows why.

8. Floating Mountains?!

The (Hallelujah!) Floating Mountains is a rock formation that inspired the floating mountains in Avatar. They float- (well, no, but they do look like it.)

9. The Pyramids of Giza

There are many world phenomenons, but I would say that the Pyramids of Giza are a special one.The enigma on how the pyramids were built is still a mystery today and inside, if you take a look inside, the writing is so perfect. Almost seems like extraterrestrial beings gave them help...

10. Eternal Flame Falls

A mysterious flame lies in the falls. It may not sound so exciting, but the flame never goes out! Why? No one knows!

11. Area 51

Area 51 is a place where UFOs and aliens have been seen. There have been multiple raids here...

12. Animals in Rock

This is quite strange, but scientists have found animals like toads and lizards in rock-alive. Sometimes lumberjacks will cut down trees and find a nasty surprise. How funny…

13. Colosseum

The Colosseum is the largest amphitheatre in the word. The Colosseum was built out of travertine limestone, tuff and brick faced concrete.

14. Life

You might think you know the explanation behind life, but the truth is, no one knows (not even you.)

15. Easter Island

Many people claimed to see the statues of Easter Island move. No one knows how they were built.

These are some of the world’s wonders. Maybe one day you will solve one of them! Keep wondering, and always live to love!
