Space is one of the coolest things ever! There is so much that we still don't know about it. These 7 crafts will make you marvel at the beauty of space!
Water bottle rocket
You will need:
A water bottle
Colored foam
Hot glue gun
Scissors
Stickers
A big cap
Any color of paint
Paint the bottle any color you want.
With an adult’s supervision, hot glue the big cap at the bottom.
Carefully, cut out 3 circles from the bottle to make windows.
Attach your stickers and cut out foam wings.
Hot glue that onto the bottle.
You are done! Enjoy!

Solar System Snow Globe
You will need :
Empty glass jar
Plastic Figurine (space related)
Glitter (star or moon shaped)
Water Glue
Water
Copper Wire or any type of wire
Waterproof Clay
A drop of glycerine (optional)
Decide on what you would like to put in your snowglobe
Glue the figurine onto the lid.
Make stars and a moon from the polymer clay and before it dries, attach it to the copper wires.
Glue the other end of the wire onto the bottom of the jar.
Fill the jar with water and put the glitter in.
Put a drop of glycerine in and hot glue the jar shut.
Turn it upside down, shake it and you’re done!
3. Intergalactic Egg Planets
You will need:
-Shaving cream
- Food coloring
- Aluminium Pan
- Egg (hard boiled with shell on)
- Fork
Spread shaving cream across the pan.
Add a few drops of food coloring across the shaving cream.
Swirl the colors with a fork.
Roll the egg across the shaving cream.
Dry, and voila! Your egg planet is ready!
4. Galaxy Slime
You will need :
1 Bottle of Elmer’s glitter glue ( in any galaxy colors )
Silver glitter
1/2 tablespoon baking soda
1½ tablespoon contact lens solution
1 tablespoon water
Pour 1 bottle of glue into a bowl.
Add your baking soda and mix.
Add your water and glitter and mix.
Add the contact lens solution and mix.
Repeat for all the colors of glue.
Swirl them together.

5. Space Themed Dream Catcher
You will need :
A paper plate
String
Scissors
A hole puncher
Beads ( space colors)
Feathers ( space colors )
Navy blue and white paint.
Cut out the middle of the paper plate and paint it navy blue and add white stars.
Punch holes on the inside rim.
Weave yarn through 2-4 holes. Leave the bottom 3 holes with yarn hanging out.
Put beads on the hanging string and tie a feather to the bottom.
You are done! Enjoy your space creation!

6. Stellar Constellations
Flashlight
Sharp pencil or hole puncher
Tape
Paper
Scissors
Star Projector (optional)
Cut out a circle of paper the size of the part of the flashlight that gives off light.
Punch out holes in the shape of a constellation (ex. Big Dipper)
Tape it to the flashlight so it obscures some light.
Turn on your flashlight to reveal an awesome constellation! Turning on a star projector will add an awe striking effect, but it is not necessary.
7. Pretty Planets
You will need :
2 or more colors of paint
A circular piece of cardstock
A flat plastic plate ( that you don’t use )
Shaving cream
Popsicle sticks
Cups
In a cup, put shaving cream and one color of paint. Stir it with the popsicle stick. Repeat for all the colors of paint.
On the plate, pour your paints and swirl them around.
Put your paper on top, take it off, and let it dry.
Marvel at your planet!
