Ocean Themed drawing
You need:
Plain construction paper
Blue, white, and peach markers, crayons, or color pencils
Ocean stickers if wanted
Pencil
Take the plain construction paper.
Take a pencil and start designing your beach scene.
Go ahead and use your blue, white, and peach markers, crayons, color pencils, etc to color your scene in.
You may use beach stickers to make your scene even more realistic.
Ta-Da! You are done with your beautiful beach scene!
2. Tye-Dye Rings
You will need:
LA plastic ring
A bin filled with water
Masking tape
Gloves
Ocean colored nail polish
A toothpick
Clear nail polish
Using the masking tape, tape off the parts of the plastic ring that you don’t want to be colored.
In the bin full of water, pour the nail polish in and use the toothpick to make designs and swirls.
Wear your gloves and dip the ring into the part of the bin with nail polish in it.
Let it dry and then peel off the masking tape.
Cover it with clear nail polish so that nothing chips off.
You’re done!
3. Ocean Themed Bracelets
You need:
String
Blue, white, and peach colored beads
Take some string.
Attach the blue, white, and peach colored beads to the string.
Tie the string into a knot.
Ta-Da! You are done!
4. Ocean Themed Pencil
You will need:
A pencil without any color
Ocean colored paint ( pink, green, blue )
A paint brush
White paint
A dotting tool
Clear nail polish or mod podge
Paint the pencil different stripes using your paint and blend them all together.
Let the pencil dry.
Dip the dotting tool into the white paint and make dots onto your pencil.
Let that dry.
Put a coat of mod podge or clear nail polish onto the pencil and let it dry.
Enjoy your ocean themed pencil!
5. Ocean Themed Bookmarks
You need:
Plain construction paper
Scissors
Color pencil
Take a plain construction paper.
Use the scissors to cut a rectangle.
Next use a pencil to sketch a design for the bookmark.
Last use color pencils or anything crafty to color and decorate.
Ta-Da! You have made your very own beach bookmark!
6. Ocean Themed Pencil case
You will need:
A white pencil case
Ocean colored fabric paint
Paint brushes
Fabric paint fish colors, orange, black, green, etc
Mod podge
Masking tape
Put masking tape on the areas you don’t want painted
Paint an ocean scene.
Paint the fish onto the ocean scene.
For protection, put a layer of mod podge after the case dries.
Peel off the masking tape.
Enjoy your one-of-a-kind pencil case!
Ocean in a Water Bottle
You will need:
Glitter
Water
Plastic fruit bag from grocery store
Food dye
Charboard
String
Paper
Things to draw and color with
Fake plants
Hot glue
Clear water bottle
Take your fake plant and hot glue it inside the water bottle.
Draw and color fish and ocean creatures on paper.
Glue the paper on cardboard.
Coat the ocean creature and s=fish drawings using modge podge.
Cut the fish and ocean creatures out and glue it on to a string.
Glue the string on the top of the water bottle.
Make a fake jellyfish by twisting a plastic fruit bag and put it inside the water bottle.
Pour in some water inside your water bottle.
Add a few drops of blue food dye and sprinkle some glitter.
Show your family your mini spectacular ocean in a bottle.
Ocean Themed Flower Pot You will need:
Flower pot
Blue, white, and peach markers
Beach decorations or stickers
First find a flower pot.
Use blue, white, and peach markers to color the pot.
Next, use beach decorations or stickers to decorate your flower pot.
Lastly add flowers to your flower pot.
You’re done!
9. Ocean Themed Mask
You will need:
A cloth mask
Ocean colored fabric paint
Squeeze out different ocean colored paint on one side of the mask. Don’t squeeze out too much.
Fold the paint side of the mask in half and open it up. There should be an abstract design on the mask.
Let it dry, and you’re done!
10. Ocean Themed Headband
You need:
A plain white headband
Blue, white, and peach paint
A tub
Take a plain white headband.
Fill a tub with water
Put blue, white, and peach paint in the water and make swirls.
Dip the headband in the water.
Let it dry.
Ta-Da, your headband is done!
11. Ocean Themed Stickers
You will need:
Wax or parchment paper
Clear Packaging tape
Pictures related to the ocean
A glue stick
Scissors
Cut out the picture.
Stick tape onto the parchment or wax paper big enough to cover the picture you just cut out.
Glue the backside of the paper onto the area you have just stuck tape on the wax or parchment paper.
Stick another layer of tape on top of the picture you just glued on.
Cut it out. Leave a border around the picture.
To use : peel off the parchment / wax paper.
Enjoy!
12. Hydro-dipped Ocean themed B’day Card
You will need:
Spray paint
Water
PVA paper
Anything to draw or color with
Fold your PVA paper in half.
Write nice things and draw on your birthday card.( Use ocean colors and draw anything relating to the ocean)
Spray paint the water in a huge container.( Use the colors of the ocean)
Hydro-dip the birthday card in the spray paint water solution.
Give the b’day card to your friend or family member !!!
13. Ocean Themed container
You will need:
Blue, peach, pink, etc ocean colored paints
Paint brushes
Mod Podge or clear nail polish
Paint an ocean or beach scene onto the container.
Let it dry.
Coat it in Mod Podge or clear nail polish and let that dry.
Enjoy!
14. Ocean Themed Slime
You need:
Ocean Colored food coloring
Spoon
Borax powder
Glue
Ocean Themed decorations
Bowl
Water
Mix glue in a bowl.
Add ocean colored food coloring ( blue, white, and peach).
Mix with a spoon.
You may add each decoration if wanted.
Pour in borax slowly.
Keep mixing. If you need more borax pour a bit more in.
When the slime is a bit jelly like, start kneading it with your hands.
Ta-Da , your slime is finished!
