US Virgin Islands
Caribbean beauty with a touch of history
Let's have a vacation in a sunny paradise
Caribbean beauty with a touch of history
The U.S. Virgin Islands are a true Caribbean treasure, offering visitors three islands, each with its own unique character. St. Thomas is the gateway, known for its vibrant atmosphere, luxury shopping, and breathtaking views from Mountain Top. It is a perfect mix of Caribbean beauty and cosmopolitan flair, where yachts dot the harbor and historic Charlotte Amalie welcomes travelers with charm.
Just a short ferry ride away, St. John is the jewel of nature. More than two-thirds of the island is preserved as Virgin Islands National Park, protecting lush forests, pristine beaches, and hidden hiking trails. Here, you can snorkel in crystal-clear waters at Trunk Bay or wander through the ruins of old sugar plantations, feeling the echoes of history blending with untouched landscapes.
Further south, St. Croix offers a different pace. It is the cultural heart of the islands, where Danish colonial architecture meets colorful Caribbean traditions. From the Christiansted boardwalk to the Buck Island Reef National Monument, the island combines heritage, culture, and outdoor adventure. St. Croix is also known for its food scene, blending influences from around the world into a distinctly Caribbean flavor.
Together, these three islands form a destination like no other — where every day can be an adventure, every evening a celebration, and every moment a memory to cherish. Whether you are seeking excitement, serenity, or culture, the U.S. Virgin Islands invite you to experience the best of the Caribbean.

In any case, verify here if you have everything you will need for your adventure.
Before you book a trip to the U.S. Virgin Islands (USVI), check if you meet all the requirements:
PASSPORT. You will need a valid passport. As a U.S. territory, USVI follows U.S. federal immigration laws. The passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended stay.
VISA. Visa requirements are the SAME as for entering the continental United States. Citizens of Visa Waiver Program (VWP) countries DO NOT need a visa for stays up to 90 days, but they MUST obtain an approved Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) prior to departure. Citizens of all other countries DO need a valid U.S. visa (e.g., B1/B2 tourist visa).
Note on Green Cards/Visas: Any valid U.S. visa, U.S. Permanent Resident Card (Green Card), or U.S. work permit that grants entry to the mainland U.S. is valid for entry into the USVI.
SANITARY REQUIREMENTS: No mandatory general vaccines are required.
Only book your trip AFTER you have all those items arranged.
After you have arranged all the above and booked your hotel, there are still a number of things to do to avoid an unpleasant surprise at customs:
Print your hotel reservation.
If applicable, ensure your ESTA application has been approved.
Have your confirmed round-trip or onward ticket ready.
Be aware that even though this is a domestic US flight/territory, all travelers must clear U.S. Customs and Border Protection upon departure from the USVI to the continental United States.
Have all those documents plus your passport, U.S. visa, or ESTA approval (if applicable) at hand for presentation to the customs officials upon your arrival.
BEWARE: Those requirements are subject to change. Be sure you have an updated list of requirements. The above requirements refere to Nov 21 2025

"Step back in time at Hassel Island, located just across the harbor from Charlotte Amalie. This historic district holds the ruins of 19th-century forts, shipyards, and military outposts, offering a fascinating glimpse into the island’s colonial past. With its quiet trails and panoramic views of the turquoise Caribbean Sea, it’s a perfect blend of history, exploration, and breathtaking scenery.".
Known for its underwater snorkeling trail and turquoise waters, Trunk Bay is a paradise within the Virgin Islands National Park, where nature remains unspoiled and breathtaking.
Colorful streets, colonial architecture, and the lively boardwalk make Christiansted, in St. Croix a cultural hub, where Caribbean traditions meet history in a vibrant setting.
