Ashen-Toll. One of the first demons entirely artifice and replacing the discovery of the machine hell and planes for it's entire life time with its name instead. While not a grand occupation one that earned Ashen-Toll's position and value.
Crenec. The longest living and the first Banx factory leader. Crenec has expanded the Banx far faster than any others and their growth has diminished significantly without it.
Gareix. A lost demon when he went on a mission to retrieve a valued sleeper agent and was slain by a group of clerics who detected his presence. In his glory, he wore thorn armor and bit with venom more potent than purple worms.
She was a Kosma royal of surprising beauty. She was lucky when she went through the cloning process and retained a grand amount of the original queen's beauty. Her immense beauty when not reflected internally. Most of her organs were replaced with artifice and her heart replaced with a shimmering engine. Shimmering engines can be fueled by a unique chemical called shimmer or being near strongly powerful magicians.
Her artifice allowed her to enjoy the benefits of more than tripling her physical capabilities, removing the near for external mechanical support entirely unlike most other Kosma.
She was rather analytical and procedural in her life style but exhibited many human and celestial traits for some reason. She is not liked by many for this and now lives in a secluded Kosman Palace.
She regularly leaps to other planes to explore and hides it with magic. In other planes she calls herself Mira Silverthorne.
This individual is not from the Banx nor a part of it but is quite adept in magic. He uses planar gate like its nothing to have quick trade routes between the various planes. The Banx employ him and his unique talent along with his Trade Guild to find the resources they need that do not lay in their Hellish plane of oils and machine.
They in turn give him hyper-pressed nutrient oil that appears to be a stone far shinier than diamond and passes to those not skilled in appraisal as more valuable.
Before Gareth passed he lived a very difficult life. He was originally from a line of Kosma clones that were nothing to note but with cunning and quick learning picked up necromancy after only witnessing it twice.
He then slowly used animated dead to sludge through the heavy oils of their plane to collect resources for him while he did his menial work.
Eventually he was able to acquire everything needed after almost 42 years and being almost ready to die. He completed a ritual of lichdom and grew in power like no other.
He created a plethora of artifacts only attunable by those who know necromancy.
His demise was trying to lead an invasion force with no tuag and no greater constructs.
A leader of Banx for order and religion. She teaches the masses of their religion and philosophy. She is highly dogmatic and hierarchical reinforcing the structure of power and evolutionary chains.
One of the many mages who attempted to ally themselves with the Banx and one of the very few who succeeded. Urzul was capable of succeeding with the Banx due to his grand artifice which he replicated a few of over the years. It was capable of completing his spell which he used to make soul gems but could only do so every so many moons.
These tablets are known as The Devouring Tablets.
These giant tablets weighing in over 12 tons and ranging from 20 to 80 feet tall are given the name due to their appearance. The stone shell with commands on the front to guide its activation are all different from the next. There are 13 in total. They have a place for a body to be placed at the bottom and it can be placed in part but is more likely to succeed as a whole. Through extensive machinery and magic sigils the large contraptions will collect blood and then convert the body and soul into a soul gem.
Very few have been able to replicate the magic in any capacity and before Urzul's passing there were none to make another machine to.
Urzul was a dragonkin. He was the one who taught the Banx to make dragon engines. Constructs fueled by heaps of oil and magical stones to replicate the power of true dragons. Although there was only ever one engine to last that long.
