The War Beasts are integral to many Junta soldiers. They are treasured by civilians and adventurers who manage to get their hands on one as well.
These beast are fiercely loyal. They can be simple to tame when young and it grows harder with age. They have never been recorded to leave their tamer without being commanded to leave them.
War beasts are often found guarding the grave of the tamers until they pass away with them.
In combat they have their own actions but act on your turn as best they can with your wishes.
Many tamed war beasts war "Battle Charms". These tools are also known as battle collars to many humans and can be called other things as well. These battle charms are capable of being socketed with mods. The better the charm, the more mods. Charms are usually collars. Here are the rarities and their capabilities:
Common: These usually run for about 3 gold pieces, but sadly can only carry one mod. They rarely have decorations and are often seen as the bare minimum for your companion.
Uncommon: These charms tend to run for a bit more at 8 gold pieces and can carry a seconds mod. They are usually colored and have a few bands of metal to make them more durable.
Rare: These are now seen as good items to give your beasts. Rare charms are capable of holding up to four mods. They are often decorated with name plates and have a fair share of enhancements. They do run high for 22+ gold pieces.
Very rare: These are often ornate and cost 40+ gold pieces. They luckily can hold up to 5 mods though. Very rare charms can be seen as embedded into beast armor.
Legendary: These charms are commonly incorporated into small pieces of armor that beasts can always wear. They cost well over 200 gold pieces and can hold up to 7 mod slots.
Mythical: These charms take on many different forms with prices ranging from 300-1000 gold pieces and sometimes more. They are well decorated and comfortable armor for beasts. They often times are enchanted as well.
