This is Djinns of the Dungeons 2.0.
Djinns are inspired by the series Magi.
Djinns are magical spirits that appear within "King Dungeons". The Djinns have a trait of leaders they value extremely highly and a magical specialty.
King Dungeons create themselves using pure magic. They are magnificent structures. The locations they appear in pertain to the powers of the Djinn that is inside. King Dungeons can not be accessed if there is no Djinn inside.
These dungeons only appear when there are people who have the traits necessary to capture the djinn inside.
Within these dungeons there are plenty of challenges within pertaining to the leader trait the Djinn values.
If one individual chooses to challenge the dungeon and beats all challenges, then they will be given an opportunity to capture the djinn within. One last extremely difficult challenge must be completed to capture the Djinn.
If this is done all challengers and some of its contents will be transported outside as a reward for the capturer.
The dungeon itself will slowly disappear or collapse depending on its location.
The Djinn will also enter a metal item on the person of the capturer. If there are no metal items it will create one for the capturer. While the capturer holds the metal item, they will be given powers of Djinn.
If a metal vessel holder ever embodies the Djinn's trait to an extent the Djinn finds acceptable, then they will be granted a Djinn equip.
This can either be a role play element
Or made on a wisdom save DC 18.
We do both and this save must only be made the first time a Djinn equip is used.
If a metal vessel is ever destroyed, lost for over 24 hours, or the capturer dies. The Djinn will return to the ethereal plane and wait for another worthy challenger.
Those who have beaten a King Dungeon and still have the metal vessel.
Djinns will grant the following to their metal vessel holder or if a new creature holds the metal vessel will grant it to them so long as they posses the desired trait to an extent.

Family features which the capturer can grant to up to 5 people they see as close as family.
Djinns can also be summoned into an ethereal form to speak with

Djinns can not be charmed or nor dominated while they are not summoned.
Djinns count as summoned while equipped using the Djinn equip features.
Djinns have identical stats to the capturer / holder of their metal vessel.
