A functional ice cream that's all natural, excellent source of fiber and uses maple as the only sweetener. This ice cream is a great option for caretakers or nurses to serve to their patients when they're wanting a sweet treat.
The current products for the elderly are either lacking in taste or nutritional benefits. As the taste buds deteriorate with age, people tend to crave sweat treats. Maple is a low glycemic sweetener, versatile as an ingredient and has a nostalgic taste, making it the perfect sweetener for the aging population.
The solution was to make an ice cream product that uses maple as the only sweetener. Multiple ice cream bases were tested, from traditional to banana, even cottage cheese!
Maple's flexibility made it the perfect ingredient to sweeten this edible candle. It could go on your morning pancakes, birthday cake or for those who prefer savory, a steak. Just light the candle, allow it to fully melt and enjoy!
Candles are great for special occasions, but they end up dripping onto cakes, causing you to pick out the inedible melted wax. Candle consumers are avidly looking for fun and different forms and maple is an ingredient with vast form and formulation potential naturally accompanied by a great taste.
Multiple formulations, wicks and molds were tested to create an edible candle with the best experience. Liquid nitrogen was an unexpected tool that was used to test various forms of the candle.
A subscription kit for kids! Each being educational and showcasing maple as the star. There are three kits: maple honeycomb, maple hummingbird feeder and maple slime. These are great for kids to do with their parents and friends!
Edible science kits are widely popular but unfortunately they have an unappealing taste, missing parts, and unnatural ingredients. Maple is versatile, natural and delicious, making it great for kids kits! They can be educated on maple as an ingredient and flavor.
The maple honeycomb kit was tested mostly on its form. Spoons, bowls, candies and more were all made with maple honeycomb, trying to find the best way for a kid to make with parent supervision.
