A more thorough explanation of how to host each TJO training will be given below. They provide advice, follow-up tasks, and instructions on how to do your own training diligently while being constant.
When you close your event and you have the required people, introduce yourself (refer to the Introduction).
[FOR ILUM LEGACY] Start your lecture on, demonstrate and teach techniques such as Ghost Block, Animation Cancel, and Ghost Hit. Introduce the primary force powers of the game too.
[FOR DANTOOINE] Start your lecture on explaining any advanced techniques in the game.
Allow the co-host to demonstrate with you if there is one.
Allow attendees the freedom to practice and exhibit these actions, techniques, and styles while you are lecturing or at the conclusion of your presentation (be creative but also be practical).
It is best to divide the audience into pairs for a 1v1 match after your lecture. Then start the 1v1s, giving each player a chance to duel at least once.
Make sure to watch the duels closely to see how the participants are doing.
Following the duels, you should inform and continue lecturing the attendees on how they might better based on your observations (try to address them individually and not as a whole).
It is ideal for individuals who showed knowledge of the techniques taught to them to pass (refer to Conclusion).
Co-hosts in Combat Trainings should be assigned one of the following duties:
Presenting their unique methods/movements/explanations/lectures/experiences.
Throughout the event, answering participants' "PTS?" questions.
After the attendants have concluded their dueling, giving them their own feedback/dueling the attendees themselves.
Word of advice: If you are unsure how to demonstrate a particular combat technique or if you are unsure how to duel in a particular combat system. Please do not host on the game where you lack knowledge of its combat system. If you wish to host there then you must have a co-host who is knowledgable or else you can just learn the combat in your own time before being ready to host. DO NOT WING COMBAT TRAININGS EVER.
Main Lore Trainings
When your close your event and you have the required people, introduce yourself (refer to the Introduction).
Start your lecture with the lore you've chosen to impart to your audience after the introduction. Tell your audience that taking notes (using !notepad) is allowed and encouraged because they will be helpful for the quiz.
Any SWU-related legend can be chosen as long as it is explained and written in your own words. Additionally, you can pick from the lore offered in the TJO Discord's #holocrons channel.
The five question test will then start. Make sure to let attendees know that passing requires them to successfully answer at least three questions.
Also let them know that in order to respond, they must use the command /whisper (username).
Make sure you attempt to get responses from everyone. If someone keeps the event from continuing because they don't respond, you can dismiss them (if they don't respond within, say, 4-6 minutes).
The attendees who answered at least three or more questions accurately will be qualified to pass the LT when the quiz is administered.
(Refer to Conclusion).
Co-hosts in Lore Trainings should be assigned one of the following duties:
Offering their own personal collection of lore to share when lecturing the audience.
Throughout the event, answering participants' "PTS?" questions.
[Main] Taking the quiz after the lecture.
[Debate] Moderating the attendees during the debate.
Ilum Gatherings
When your close your event and you have the required people, introduce yourself (refer to the Introduction) and explain the rules of the event.
Make sure that everyone in attendance recites the Crystal Code as they circle the platform.
You may now start allowing attendees to search for the desired crystal outside. Inform them that they only have a short window of time (5-10 minutes is recommended) to obtain or arrive at the desired crystal.
In order to protect your attendees from hostiles, you can team them as "Visitors" or :ff them.
Recognize that attendees may cooperate to reach the crystal.
You can give them tips on where to look if they have any trouble finding the crystal.
Any participants who die on the way to the crystal will be dismissed.
Once the (remaining) participants have located the desired crystal, have them assemble in the auditorium for a brief explanation about kyber crystals in general and why the Order values them so highly.
(Refer to Conclusion).
Dantooine Gatherings
When your close your event and you have the required people, introduce yourself (refer to the Introduction).
Remind participants to take their own notes during the lecture using !notepad.
