It should go without saying that various people will react differently when warned, imprisoned, respawned, kicked, or blacklisted. The simplest way to respond to their concerns or complaints is to simply explain what they did to merit the punishment in question.
Sometimes these reactions will turn "explosive," causing the individual receiving the punishment to lash out at you in-game or in your DMs. Don't imitate their actions if you want to save time. That essentially means to avoid returning any disrespectful or impolite behavior and to maintain your composure while handling the situation.
You should act as a reminder of what they did wrong and it shouldn't need to go any farther because some, if not most people, will overlook what they might have done wrong. If it does, however, spiral out of your control, report to a Jedi Councilor or a member of the Moderation Committee so they can examine the circumstance and make a concluding pronouncement.
Make sure to be straightforward when reporting any incidents, circumstances, or problems to a member of the Moderation Committee or a Jedi Councilor. Include the names of those involved, factual speculation, and any other important or required information on the problem(s).
Ask any Jedi Master+ who is accessible to ban an exploiter (if there is one in the game) or for other urgent issues. If you are a Jedi Master+, use the proper procedures (properly issuing a ban and logging).
Contact a Jedi Councilor if you need more information about a person or a circumstance that needs it. If there are any penalties to impose, the Council will have the last word.
When filing a report using the #reports channel, be sure to include the following information: parties involved, nature of the offense(s), and supporting documentation.
