All quotas. from Jedi Battlemaster - Jedi Master, are based on an event-based system, as of May 2023.
High Command(ers) of a division (Chief General/Chief of Security in TF/TG), and those who purchase immunity from rank sellers in the past, are immune to quota. [QUOTA IMMUNITY IS NO LONGER PURCHASABLE]
New staff members that were recently promoted (i.e. more than a week after the quota cycle has begun) are immune to that quota cycle.
People whose inactivity notices expired more than a week after the quota cycle has begun are immune to that quota cycle. Remember that they must have been on inactivity days for 7 or more days of that particular quota cycle to have immunity.
Inactivity notices that are one month long require approval from a member of the Jedi Council. Inactivity notices that are of unknown duration or more than a month require approval from either the Master of the Order or the Grandmaster. Note that the maximum length for an inactivity notice is 2 months.
People who unretired more than a week after the quota cycle has begun are immune to that quota cycle.
Cancelled events | Counts as 0.5 of a event (does not count for trials)
You are expected to wait at least around 10 minutes for attendees to join before you declare a training cancelled. Should the councillors responsible for the activity checks find that the waiting time was not sufficiently high, the cancelled event(s) may not count for the quota at all.
Supervising events (for Jedi Instructor+ supervising Jedi Battlemasters) | Count towards 1 point to your quota.
Hosting an event | Count towards 1 point to your quota.
Host with the Most does not depend on who achieves the most quota points, it depends on who hosts the most events that are not cancelled. Cancelled events and supervisions do not count towards HWTM.
1 hosted (supervised by JI+) event per two weeks
2 events/trials per two weeks
3 events/trials per two weeks
Server startups were introduced for the purpose of initiating activity on 'dead' servers on any TJO game.
Jedi Instructor+ gain the privilege to host (Server Startups) SSUs whenever they wish at their own discretion. Although, they are required to be in-game throughout the SSU. When hosting an SSU you are also advised to wait at least an hour or two before the previous SSU in order to avoid overflowing the #server_startups channel.
Jedi Instructors and above have the option of retiring from the Jedi Order; upon doing so, they will be downgraded to one of the following retirement ranks:
Jedi Elder (Retired Jedi Instructors or Jedi Masters) .
Jedi Spirit (Jedi Councillors)
Jedi Spirit is only given to those who have passed their trial period and retired honourably from the Jedi Council. Councillors who are deemed unworthy of Spirit by either the Grandmaster or the Jedi Council will only be eligible for the Jedi Elder retirement rank alongside past Masters and Instructors. Note that being removed from the Jedi Council will automatically terminate eligibility for Spirit as they are considered having retired in bad standing.
The @Ghost role in the discord server is given to retired MOTOs and/or exceptional JCs if either the Grandmaster or Askavix himself deem them worthy.
Jedi Legend (Grandmasters or handpicked by Askavix).
Retirement Speech Rules
According to some rules, you are permitted to discuss your experience in a polite manner during your speech.
No matter who is retiring, there should be absolutely no side-chat in the channel. If you truly need to get in touch with the retiree, you can do so through the Discord channels or direct messages (DMs).
There may be no slander of any type in your speech. Use your parting words to inspire people rather than to offend them.
Within 24 hours, you can come out of retirement and get your rank back. After 24 hours, if you decide to come out of retirement, your rank will drop by one.
You must mention your rank and username in your speech because doing so makes it much simpler for us to rank you when you retire and, potentially, when you unretire.
Only Jedi Council+ and divisional HICOM+ (General+ in TF and Overseer+ in TG) will get retirement threads made for them.
Unretirement Policies
If you unretire within 24 hours, you will receive a full rank restoration. If you unretire after 24 hours have passed since your retirement, you will receive one rank below your previous rank.
For example, if I retired as a Jedi Instructor and decided to unretire within 24 hours of my retirement, I would receive Instructor back. If I decide to unretire after that period, I would receive Jedi Battlemaster (one rank below).
Every time you unretire, you go down one rank from what your rank was before you retired.
For example, if I unretired as a former Jedi Councilor to Jedi Master, then retire as a Master, the next time I unretire I will receive Jedi Instructor.
If you have had any retirement roles/rank/status and you decide to unretire to any rank, you are guaranteed those retirement ranks back at any stage, unless they're taken away by strikes or a Jedi Council vote.
You cannot unretire lower than Jedi Knight.
Retirement Policies
You can lose your retirement status if you receive strikes as a retired individual or if decided on by the Jedi Council. Remember that your retirement status is a privilege, not a right.
Jedi Battlemasters will only be eligible for Jedi Knight upon retirement, unless they have had previous retirement statuses.
Jedi Instructors and Jedi Masters who have not had retirement status beforehand will need to complete a full quota cycle in order to be eligible for retirement status of Jedi Elder.
Jedi Councilors must pass their trial before being eligible for Jedi Spirit.
Masters of the Order will be given Jedi Spirit + the Ghost role upon retirement, unless invalidated otherwise by the Grandmaster or Council vote (the latter requires the Grandmaster's permission).
Exceptional Jedi Councilors may be granted the Ghost role upon retirement, if decreed so by the Grandmaster.
