Multiple people of importance were invited to the celebration to give their remarks, and their words of gratitude towards the school. One of these guest speakers being the Granddaughter of the school’s founder herself, Ms. Pia Roces-Morato. According to her speech, “Educational resilience comes from the fact that every rose has its thorn but the ups and downs of life should develop us and not destroy us.” She also says that she is extremely grateful for the school and what it is doing in order to shape young minds.

The guest speaker’s speeches were followed by multiple performances by students from different school clubs such as the Student Artist Club (SAC) and Tanghalang Filipino Club (TFC.)

Event hosts, Ms. Batica and Dr. M. Rosas

This event hosted by Ms. Mary Bernadette Batica, and Dr. John M. Rosas truly gave us all chills by their warm and astounding hosting. They deserve a wondrous round of applause. Furthermore, the 71st birthday of Don Alejandro Roces Senior-Science Technology Highschool (DARSSTHS) was also a remembrance of how us Rocesians stand strong amidst every calamity that we face. It has always been an uphill battle for us Rocesians, but despite all of that we manage to be resilient

It was an awe-inspiring foundation day, since we got to hear from different sweet and motivating words from our speakers. This Foundation Day was something that is worth-treasuring. Our Rocesian blood has been ignited and sparked once again.
