Book Placement Guide

 Have you ever wanted to fill up a nice shelf with books, but don’t know off the top of your head which books make sense to use?? Have you ever woken up in a cold sweat remembering the time you used Corpse Preparation vol. II in that one velothi temple??? Fear not, for you've just found the solution!! 

These are all books which can get Skywind-original, not in MW placements. Not listed are books which shouldn’t get future placements; Hanin’s Wake, Guylaine’s Architecture, Nchunak’s Fire and Faith, etc. Please say something if you find errors.

For filling up bookshelves, just be wary of Dunmeri script on some covers that non-Dunmer wouldn’t be able to read.

• A Less Rude Song (a bawdy, scandalous book. Not for the more straight-laced members of society)

• Thief of Virtue (another bawdy, scandalous book. Not for Tribunal Temple/conservative Dunmer, nor for disciplined Legion soldiers)

• Poison Song 1-7 (not owned by Tribunal Temple/conservative Dunmer, especially not Redoran)

• The Pig Children (not owned by Orcs, or anyone not likely to be racist against Orcs. Opposes 'The True Nature of Orcs')

• The Real Barenziah 1-5 (not owned by Imperial officials, Imperial Cultists, or senior/conservative Dunmer)

• The Madness of Pelagius (not owned by Imperial officials or cultists)

It goes without saying, books marked as unique, rare, or quest-related (prefixes like MQ or TT or MG) should only be used where they are meant to. Please remove them if they're encountered where they're not. See original placements for books that appeared in Morrowind, particularly for the following, which should not be in levelled lists:

Do not place any skill books unless they were present in original Morrowind. This includes Mystery of Talara v5 which technically isn’t a skill book.
