Gunfighter courses challenge students with dynamic training scenarios that require rapid decision-making and physical movement within safely regulated three dimensional shooting environments.
Gunfighter courses teach students how to fight and win using their handgun. Instruction includes: situational awareness, the speed and nature of violence, developing a combat mindset, every day carry gear selection, concealed holster placement, drawing from a concealed holster, rapid sight acquisition, displacing “off the X” and moving to safety, use of cover and concealment, retaining the gun in close fights, one-hand/injured-hand firearms manipulations, and unconventional shooting techniques.
Gunfighter courses are physical, but you to not have to be an athlete to attend. Gunfighter courses require students to move, kneel, squat and assume awkward shooting positions. All 8-hours of each Gunfighter shooting course are conducted entirely outdoors on the range, including inclement weather and extreme temperatures.
A willingness to learn, a solid work ethic, a fighting spirit, and a determination to WIN are more critical to success than athleticism.
All Gunfighter courses require students to provide a handgun, a holster, three magazines, and 250 rounds of FACTORY ammunition. NO reloaded or hand-loaded ammunition is permitted in Gunfighter courses. There are ZERO exceptions granted regarding factory ammunition.
All Gunfighter courses require students to move, kneel, squat, and assume awkward positions. Accommodations for Adaptive Shooting are provided, as needed.
