• Goal setting

Vice President, Business and Outreach

• Find and organize outreach events

• Identify potential sponsors and organize fundraising

• Maintain relationships with existing sponsors

• Sponsor decals on robot, banner, and t-shirts

• Manage creation of public relations materials like the website and handouts

• Track budget and spending

Vice President, Technical

• Organize the creation of each robot subsystem and lead design integration

• Have final say on design decisions (with mentor input)

• Project management

• Identify and pursue opportunities for the team to increase its technical capabilities

• Manage the technical sub-teams

CAD Lead

• Organize design of robot parts

• Coordinate creation of robot CAD models

• Maintain design documentation

• Keep design files organized

• Maintain CAD computers

• Organize training in CAD skills

Software Lead

• Design and create robot software

• Create software for other team needs (scouting, driver station, etc)

• Keep source code files organized (GitHub, etc)

• Maintain software-team computers

• Organize training in programming skills

Mechanical Lead

• Organize construction of parts for robots and other team projects

• Maintain tools, machines, and material stock

• Ensure shop stays clean, safe, and organized

• Organize training in machining skills

Electrical Lead

• Design and create the robots' electrical and pneumatic systems

• Organize and maintain tools and part stores

• Organize training in electrical skills

Selection of Student Leadership

New student leaders are appointed each spring after the conclusion of the FIRST Robotics Competition. Student leaders are elected by the team’s students from a list nominees selected by the mentors and graduating seniors.
