Pyramid Scheme

Pyramid Scheme is a dense pattern of triangles made by folding over the edges of closed hexagon twists.

Base crease pattern: This crease pattern shows the arrangement of hexagon and triangle twists, before the edges of the hexagon twists are folded in to create additional triangles. The layering may be very messy at this point - this is generally resolved after the hexagons have been folded into triangles.

Final crease pattern: This crease pattern shows the final arrangement after the hexagons have been turned into triangles.

Recommended starting dimensions: Hexagon paper 24cm diameter or larger; 32 triangle grid density or higher.
