Lotus Pond is a pattern with flowers and leaf pads of two different shapes. The flowers are created with sunken hexagons and the small leaf pads with a closed hexagon twist -- these two are interchangable in the pattern, allowing for a variety of arrangements in the final. In this crease pattern, a central ring of flowers is surrounded by a ring of small hexagonal leaf pads.

Recommended starting dimensions: Hexagon paper 50cm diameter or larger; 64 triangle grid density or higher. If using fewer ring repeats, a 48 triangle grid can be used.
