TA-14 is not a product, a platform, or a company in the usual sense.
It is an ecosystem with strict boundaries, designed to fix a specific problem in HVAC and building work:

For decades, decisions have been made without preserved, time-bounded evidence of what actually happened.

TA-14 exists to change that — without turning into monitoring, analytics, sales, or control.

The four parts of TA-14 (one sentence each)

TA-14 Academy
Free, public education that defines correct sequence, professional behavior, and “do no harm” standards — without diagnosing systems or selling anything.

TA-14 Environmental Integrity Node
A passive, read-only instrument that observes environmental reality over time and records it as evidence — no alerts, no optimization, no control.

Transparent Air 14
The human execution layer that installs instruments, performs work, and interprets evidence — operating independently from governance.

TA-14 Authority
A governance-only body that oversees evidence integrity in commercial and institutional contexts — it does not sell, diagnose, optimize, or perform work.

These parts are intentionally separated.
They are not meant to collapse into a single tool, app, or vendor.

What TA-14 is not

To avoid confusion, it’s important to be explicit.

TA-14 is not:

• Monitoring or analytics
  
  

• BAS, EMS, or controls
  
  

• Optimization or fault detection
  
  

• Diagnostics or automated recommendations
  
  

• A sales platform
  
  

• A replacement for technicians or engineers
  
  

If something claims to decide, optimize, or control based on TA-14 data, that decision happens outside TA-14 and under someone else’s responsibility.

TA-14 produces evidence only.

Why this separation matters

When the same system both:

• observes reality, and
  
  

• acts on that reality
  
  

the evidence becomes compromised.

TA-14 draws a hard line:

Anything that produces governed evidence must not influence the system being evidenced.

This separation protects homeowners, technicians, institutions, and regulators — and makes the record defensible.
