Purpose

NERIC establishes a structured method for interpreting HVAC system performance records without altering the original measurements or introducing system intrusion.

NERIC is not a field procedure.

It is applied after measurement has been completed.

Core Principle

The record is preserved.
Interpretation does not modify it.

NERIC maintains a strict separation between:

Why This Exists

In conventional workflows, measurement and interpretation are often combined.

This leads to:

NERIC removes this overlap.

It ensures that:

What was measured remains unchanged,
and what is concluded is clearly separated.
