Max Training Time: 1 hour.

You must submit an LOA if you are going to be gone for 7 days or more.

Mandatory Trainings: All recruits must complete the following trainings: Robbery, Combat, and Paperwork.
Regional Training: You must shadow in two different regions, with a minimum of 5 hours in each.
Training Period: You have a maximum of 2 weeks to complete your training period. If you require more time due to real-life circumstances, you must communicate with an Instructor or Professor.
Leave of Absence (LOA):
If you will not be active for more than three days, you must submit an LOA.
Submitting a month-long LOA is discouraged; it may be better to reapply when you have more availability to avoid occupying a spot unnecessarily.
Inactivity Policy: Failure to maintain activity or communicate via LOA may result in removal due to inactivity.
Training Re-Issues: Trainings may be reissued based on the opinions of Senior Instructors and above.
Post-Training Application: After completing all trainings, Academy Staff will inform you when you may apply to a region.
Regional Acceptance: Be aware that your application to a region may be denied.

A series of authority positions, ranked from lowest to highest.

For example: You wouldn't DM a member of BoC about how to go on-duty.
However, if you have a genuine concern or complaint, please come forward.
Mention it to your CoC, but if you feel like it's crucial, then please come to the Board.

Academy Staff
Position: Between the rank of Senior Deputy and the Board of Liaison.
Primary Focus: Assisting, training, and educating Lawmen.
Responsibilities: Ability to roam, train Lawmen, and wear any professional attire.
Status: Not part of the main force.
Eligibility: May apply at Deputy rank and above.
Field Mentors
Position: Certification, not a rank.
Primary Focus: Assisting, training, and educating Lawmen.
Responsibilities: Ability to roam while performing Field Mentor duties.
Status: Still part of the Main Force.
Detectives
Position: Between Senior Deputy and Sergeants in authority.
Responsibilities: Casework, undercover operations, raids, and roaming.
Conduct: Cannot “boss” people around or treat them poorly; essentially a guest in the town.
Eligibility: Marshal.
Marshals
Position: Between Captains and Sergeants, but not above Captains.
Responsibilities: Assisting where needed in towns, conducting raids, interrogating for information, and roaming.
Conduct: Considered a guest in the town.
Eligibility: Corporal.

Restrictions:
You are not allowed to engage in farming, hunting, or any other non-lawmen activities.
You cannot commit crimes, whether on or off duty, as a lawman.
Compliance:
As a lawman, you must adhere to all server and county laws. You are not above the law.
Since the lawman position is whitelisted, you are NOT permitted to lie (government rule). Your statements are considered credible even when off duty.
Off-Duty Conduct:
If you witness a crime while off duty, you can detain the suspect and use /alertpolice to notify on-duty lawmen.

Under NO circumstances are you allowed to take anything out of the Evidence Locker without permission from a Captain or higher.
Consequences:
Doing so without authorization is considered corruption.
Violations may result in disciplinary actions.

General Respect and Role-Playing (RP)
Respect: Show general respect for fellow lawmen. Building respect between lawmen and criminals is also crucial.
RP Freedom: You are entitled to RP as you wish, but keep in mind it might not always be effective. RP is RP, as long as you are not breaking server rules or laws.
Complaints: If there are multiple complaints from fellow lawmen, doctors, or civilians, it becomes a High Command issue. However, we will not punish you solely for RPing as an unpleasant character.
Disciplinary Process
Violations: If you violate rules or guidelines, disciplinary actions will be taken.
Reapplication: You can reapply on a different character since you retain the knowledge behind the screen, unless you are blacklisted. However, this depends on the nature and reason for your removal.
Conduct Guidelines
Mask Removal: There is a difference between being respectful and being rude. For example, asking someone to "please remove your mask" is respectful, while saying "take off the fucking mask" is rude.
Role Balance: Strive to balance between being a "Nice Cop" and a "Bad Cop."

No form of corruption is tolerated. Corruption includes any actions that violate Syn County Law Department’s policies and procedures in an egregious manner, as well as breaches of server rules related to Whitelist Corruption.
Examples of Corruption:
Unauthorized Access: Taking items from the Evidence Locker without permission from a Captain or higher.
Abuse of Privileges: Exploiting Lawman privileges, such as carrying money to avoid being robbed while on duty.
Dishonesty: Lying about any matter.

Not Corruption: Telling someone to "fuck off" when they are berating you is not considered corruption.

Investigation: When investigating contraband sales:
Observe Carefully: Use binoculars or a camera to RP the situation effectively.
Avoid Rushing: Do not rush in with guns blazing, as this may alert them and prevent further sales.
Be Strategic: Approach investigations with caution and use common sense.
Your approach should be thoughtful and well-explained, ensuring that you maintain professionalism and fairness in your law enforcement duties.
