“There is no growth without change ”
~ Michael Singer
When designing this online course, I knew it was essential to seek honest, informed feedback from a range of stakeholders who understood both the content and the technology involved. I reached out to a trusted colleague working at the secondary level, two experienced digital nomads familiar with navigating online learning environments, and my supportive collaboration group. Conducting usability testing with this diverse group was a critical step, it provided meaningful insights into how the course would function in real-world contexts. Usability testing goes beyond theoretical planning; it allows you to evaluate the practical effectiveness of your design and make thoughtful adjustments before launch. It’s one of the most powerful and impactful phases in the instructional design process, ensuring the course is not only well-structured but truly learner-ready.
