You will have access to extensive online resources via our school’s network. You are expected to have read and agreed to our FIS Technology & Responsible Use Agreement and the FIS Academic Honesty Policy; adhering to all copyright laws governing the use and sharing of information and resources. Unless you have been given explicit permission by a staff member, all technology, software, and applications used during the school day must be approved by FIS.
To maintain the security and integrity of our digital environment:
VPNs & Proxies: The use of VPNs or proxy servers to bypass school filters is strictly prohibited, as they compromise the network’s ability to protect you from cyber threats.
Artificial Intelligence: AI tools should only be used when explicitly authorized by a teacher for specific educational purposes, please follow the Student AI Guidance Poster. Any unauthorized use of AI to generate schoolwork is considered a violation of academic integrity.
Anyone who violates the confidentiality of school computer records or who engages in behavior that is in any way destructive to the hardware or software in the system will face disciplinary action that may include expulsion from school.
PLEASE NOTE: Cyber bullying and other forms of electronic bullying are not tolerated and will be punished accordingly. We are a community that cares for its members and will not tolerate harassment or discrimination at any level.
