Ed worked at Manweb, and used to go to Mass at St Cuthbert's on Holy Days of Obligation in the late 80s and early 90s. He said the priest (possibly Father Crowther, although he remembers there being two priests) could get through the service in under 15 minutes! Nicknamed 'The Jet'.
The final Mass said in the Church was celebrated by Fr Garrett, Father Rice and Bishop Malone on 4th October, 2002.
