Skipping Cutscenes
Press and hold the Space Bar or ESC to start the skip process. You will see in the top right corner a wheel/circle appear which will fill. Once full, the cutscene is cancelled. To stop this from being skipped, release the Space Bar or ESC key.
The New Romulus alerts might seem random, but they're actually not. There is a pattern to them. Every 30 minutes an alert will occur on the hour and half past each hour. The order of the Alerts are:
Paehhos Crater (Sometimes referred to as being in Isha Forest- objective is finding and defeating Hirogen hunters)
Hwael Ruins (objective is killing Tholians)
Staging Area (objective is dispersing the insect swarms in the zone. You will need to get a sprayer from a box near the shuttlepad)
Vastam Peaks (objective is to tag various boxes for transport by clicking on them)
Atlai (objective in this river zone is to lure the baby Nanovs- pink octopus creatures- back to their mother. You will need to find reeds along the riverbank to feed/tempt them to follow you. Click on the reeds to gather then click on the Nanovs to have them follow. Note that they will stop following you after a while, requiring you to click them again)
Paehhos Crate (the cycle starts over)
Note that the only way to know what the next alert is, is to know what the last alert was/located. Once you know you'll be able to see what the next one will be.
No Cannons for You
It might be a fun idea to put cannons on one of your lower level ships, especially since some come with them, but its really not a good idea. The problem stems from the fact that the Tactical Bridge Officer ability of Scatter Shot and Rapid Fire are not Ensign level abilities. What this means is that you can slot the cannons but your Tactical Bridge Officer is limited to only an Ensign ranked ability in the 1 slot that is available to them. This results in the weapon being unable to be enhanced by Rapid Fire and Scatter Shot. Those abilities are slotted in the Lieutenant or higher levels. Instead placing a Beam array or a Dual Beam Bank is better as Beam Overload is an Ensign level enhancement ability.
Additionally make certain before you invest in a Cannon (of any type) that the ship you want to place it on can actually slot it. Most of the lighter ships, like the Escorts, Raptors and Light Warbirds can mount cannons. Slower ships generally cannot. Knowing the weapons you can place on the ship of your dreams can and will save you from wasting resources.

Delta Quadrant Mission: Revolutions bug
When at the Hirogen array, occasionally the game will glitch. At the stage where you are asked to determine the fate of the Benthan Guard Cruiser, Eldex will not proceed with his actions. As a result, the mission stalls. To correct this, you will need to leave the system (click the Abort Mission - Depart System button- the "Galaxy" swirl) and then return. This will start the mission over at the point where the Benthan Guard cruiser arrives. Re-disable it and make your choices, Eldex should then proceed and the mission continues normally.

Endeavors Foe Locations/Missions
X Damage (Space): Any of the TFOs, but best to look for the Deep Space Encounters to engage in low level easy to complete battles. Any space missions will also work for these purposes but will likely be more time intensive and less rewarding. Dyson Sphere missions and Battlezone as well as Badlands Battlezone also will count.
Defeat Borg Ships: Look for the Deep Space Encounter "Assimilate the Barbarians" for a relatively easy to complete mission. Borg centric TFOs and story missions involving the Borg also work but are more time intensive,
Defeat Tholian Ships: Tholian specific missions from the story arcs and well as Tholinan TFOs are both ways to get your number of kills. As well, look in the Alpha Quadrant for a deep space encounters called "Into the Web" which has waves of Tholian ships to destroy.
X Damage (Ground): Equip the required damage type asked for and proceed to any of the "Adventure Planets" ie Nimbus III, New Romulus, Nukara, Kobali Prime. Any Ground Warzones such as Defera and the Voth Battlezone. Recommendation is Nimbus III for the low level enemies, variety of locations to spread player base and being able to use a full squad of Away Team members (Nukara and Defera allow for none, Kobali Prime allows 2, and New Romulus allows only 1).
Defeat Borg (Ground): Defera Invasion zone (Alpha Quadrant; Defera System). Nothing but Borg to fight.
Defeat Vaadwaur (Ground): Kobali Prime (Delta Quadrant). Like the Defera Invasion zone, nothing but Vaadwaur to fight.
Defeat Tzenkethi (Ground): The mission "Of Signs and Portents" has a ground portion that has 60+ Tzenkethi to defeat which will satisfy even the highest level endeavor.
Defeat Gorn (Nimbus/Ground): Nimbus III has a valley located on the east side of the map. Going there you will see many Gorn that can be used to satisfy the kill Gorn ground endeavors.
Defeat Tholians (Nukara/Ground): Going to Nukara (need to be level 50+ and have an environmental suit) will give you ample opportunity to earn Nukara Marks and kill as many Tholians on the ground to get any level of the endeavors completed.
Harvest Materials (Ground): Many places to get these, but for those wanting a sure thing, the best way to do this is via a mission you know that has ground resources. A good one that has a guaranteed 2 ground resources, and no combat, is "Sphere of Influence" (1st mission of the Solanae Dyson story arc). If you need more then 2, beam to your ship then back again, and the resources should be respawned for another 2. Repeat until you have your required total. Another good one that will give at least 2 ground and is not as far into the episodes is "Mine Enemy" in the Romulan Mystery story arc. This mission has 2 space and 2 ground resources so a good way to get both if that is required for your endeavors.
