A replica NX-class starship originally designed by Henry Archer and Zefram Cochrane. The first of its class was the NX-01 Enterprise commanded by Captain Johnathan Archer in 2151. Although the few remaining original NX-class starships can only be found in museums, this replica incorporates classic design with modern technology. The result is a nimble little vessel quite capable of light escort duty. The NX-class starship comes complete with a retro-style Grappler Console Mod. This unique Console mod fires a clawed magnetic Grappler attached to a heavy nanopolymer tow cable that can slow an enemy ship. The engineers at Utopia Planitia felt it was important to include this device to all NX Replicas as standard issue for authenticity reasons. This Mod can be equipped on any ship, in any console slot.

Science ships don't have the firepower of escorts, but they have the most advanced technology in Starfleet. Their advanced deflector dishes and Sensor Analysis can identify and exploit weaknesses in enemy vessels, allowing you to deal more damage to a single target the longer you maintain a lock on that target. The Light Science Vessels has bonus Auxiliary Power, and more advanced shields than other starships in its tier. This configuration has one starship class - The Oberth.
The Oberth-class comes equipped with an Enhanced Plasma Manifold console module. This Console Mod is a reusable power source that increases ship Auxiliary and shield power levels. This Mod can be equipped on any ship, in any console slot. You may only equip one of these mods on any single ship.

Naming Convention: The ship class name and some of the canonical ships indicate a space phenomenon or stellar/star/astronomical style of names.
Variants:
A starship design from the early years of Starfleet, the Daedalus-class Science Vessel still serves with distinction, With strong shields and a powerful sensor suite, the Daedalus-class is well equipped for missions of research and exploration in the final frontier.
Temporal Starships are capable of making subtle alterations on the molecular level through the use of Molecular Reconstruction. This technology allows the starship to assume 1 of 3 different Configurations: Defensive, Offensive and Support. Each configuration has their own strengths and weaknesses. Each of the configurations generate their own specific counter. Up to 6 Counters can be generated at a time. These Counters are used to fuel your Molecular Deconstruction Beam.
Defensive Configuration: While this configuration is active, the starship's systems will dynamically reconfigure to fill more of a defensive role. This provides a boost to Maximum Shield Power and incoming Hull Healing. This comes at a cost of a small reduction to Flight Speed and Turn Rate. Defensive Configuration generates 1 Defensive Counter every 10 seconds.
Offensive Configuration: While this configuration is active, the starship's systems will dynamically reconfigure to fill a more of an offensive role. This provides a boost to Maximum Engine Power, Speed, and Turn. This comes at a cost of a small reduction of incoming Hull Healing. Offensive Configuration generates 1 Offensive Counter every 10 seconds.
Support Configuration: While this configuration is active, the starship's systems will dynamically reconfigure to fill more of a support role. This provides a boost to Maximum Auxiliary Power, Control Strength, and Exotic Damage. This comes at a cost of a small reduction to Energy Weapon Damage. Support Configuration generates 1 Support Counter every 10 seconds.
Molecular Deconstruction Beam: Activating this ability requires a total of 6 Counters generated by Defensive Configuration, Offensive Configuration, or Support Configuration. Molecular Deconstruction Beam deals Physical Damage over time and Disables the target, in addition to healing your hull over time. This power's damage scales with the number of Offensive Counters consumed. Its Hull Healing scales with the number of Defensive Counters consumed. Lastly, its Disable duration scales with the number of Support Counters consumed. Activating this ability will consume all Offensive, Defensive, and Support Counters generated from Configurations.
The Temporal Science Vessel comes equipped with the Temporal Destabilizer Probe universal console. While this console is equipped, the starship can deploy a probe that travels forward slowly. This probe disrupts the flow of time of any foe who is within 2 km of the probe's path. Affected enemies will have their flight speed, turn rate and weapon firing cycles dramatically reduced for a short time.
This console may be equipped on any starship and it may be equipped in any console slot.

A versatile escort from the 23rd century, the Perseus-class Temporal Escort incorporated several state-of-the-art systems for the time, including the M6 Computer. Designed to provide rapid tactical analysis of the battlefield, the M6 had none of the troublesome drawbacks of its infamous predecessor.
The Temporal Escort comes equipped with the M6 Computer universal console. When the M6 Computer is activated it will provide a substantial boost to Weapon Damage, Accuracy, Defense, Weapon Cycle Haste and Tactical Bridge Officer Ability recharge rate.
This console may be equipped on any starship and it may be equipped in any console slot.

Taking inspiration from Starfleet's smaller Escorts, like the Defiant and Sabe-class, the Fleet Aquarius-class Light Escort is extremely fast and maneuverable. This fast and maneuverable Light Escort is smaller than most Escorts and was originally designed to launch from the aft section of the Odyssey-class Tactical Cruiser. Like its mother ship, it is also very versatile - boasting several Universal bridge officer seats.

Presumably, vessels of this type not assigned to a home ship would have their own name and NCC designation.

The Pinnacle of Federation starship design, the Odyssey Star Cruiser will carry the Federation into a new generation of exploration.
In honor of this monumental technological achievement, Starfleet Command has authorized the construction of a new flagship. This vessel, the U.S.S. Enterprise-F, will embolden its crew to embrace the principles of exploration and cooperation that are the hallmarks of the Federation. In the Odyssey-class, crews will explore strange new worlds, seek out new lifeforms and new civilizations and boldly go where no ship has gone before.
The Odyssey-class is the largest vessel ever created by Starfleet. Its massive size makes it very resilient, but its turn rate is reduced by the bulk of the vessel. The Odyssey's unique split saucer pylon reduces subspace turbulence which allows for higher warp speeds and increases the duration the ship can maintain Slipstream Drive. The Odyssey-class is designed as an extreme long-range vessel, and can operate for long periods of time away from support. Because of this, the Starfleet Corps of Engineers needed to make the Odyssey extremely versatile. It features Universal Lieutenant Commander Bridge Officer stations that can be operated by any Bridge Officer class.

Variants:
Taking inspiration from Starfleet's smaller Escorts, like the Defiant-class and Saber-class, the Fleet Aquarius-class Light Escort is extremely fast and maneuverable. This fast and maneuverable Light Escort is smaller than most Escorts and was originally designed to launch from the aft section of the Odyssey-class Tactical Cruiser. Like its mother ship, it is also very versatile - boasting several Universal bridge officer seats.
The Fleet Aquarius-class Light Escort has been specifically designed to support your Fleet. Fleet Starships are built to the highest standard and have increased Hull Hit Points, Shield Strength and an additional Console slot.

Naming Convention: According to non-canonical sources the names of the vessels were inspired by the NASA space program capsule programs. Its not clear whether or not the vessels assigned to home ships would have a distinct NCC or if they would share their home ships hull number. Presumably, vessels of this type not assigned to a home ship would have their own name and NCC designation.
Variants:
The original designs for the Akira-class Heavy Escort envisioned the starship as a light carrier and torpedo boat. Although the Akira-class could be equipped with several torpedo launchers, it never lived up to its full potential and Starfleet never felt much of a need to engineer its starships as carriers. Now in the early 25th century, a war on multiple fronts has inspired Starfleet engineers to re-envision old designs. The Fleet Heavy Strike Wing Escort lives up to pedigree and finally fulfills its predecessor's original role. The Fleet Heavy Strike Wing Escort comes with a single hangar bay with a wing of Peregrine-class Fighters. Other hangar ships can be equipped if desired.
The Akira-class Fleet Heavy Strike Wing Escort has been specifically designed to support your Fleet. Fleet Starships are built to the highest standard and have increased Hull Hit Points, Shield Strength and an additional Console slot.
