While the presence of one or even a few of these behaviors does not indicate a Sensory Processing Disorder, the presence of several may help to determine the need for further investigation. If you need more information about your child's sensory sensitivities, sensory processing interferes with your child's daily life, or sensory processing results in a detriment to your child's health or well-being, it is advised to consult an occupational therapist.
