Late Policy

I ask that you do your best to turn in each assignment on time so you can keep up with the pace of the course, I can provide feedback when appropriate, and you can gauge your progress. I know that your schedules are very busy, but missing one due date can sometimes lead to missing another due date and I want you to successfully achieve your learning goals. At the same time I know how busy life can get and I want to extend you some grace when possible. Therefore, Practice & Preparation assignments and cultural activities can be turned in after the due date and time, but with a small 10% deduction per day.

Drop Lowest Scores

I know how much this class means to you and that you will not miss our class sessions and/or not complete assignments unless it is really necessary and/or out of your control. Therefore, I will not attempt to judge which reasons are more valid and thus deserving of being "excused". To be understanding and flexible when these situations arise, I will drop 1-2 of your lowest scores in all of the grade categories except for the Community Cultural Project and the Final Evaluation.

Important Dates

Friday, 8/30 Last Day to add, drop, and receive a refund
Friday, 10/25 Pass/No Pass deadline and the last day to withdrawal

If you stop attending classes and/or completing online assignments in Canvas after the Official Withdrawal deadline, you will still earn a final letter grade.
