In summary, the Flipped Classroom model consists of students studying appropriate content before each class session so they come prepared and somewhat knowledgeable of what we will be practicing in the next session. This way in class time is mostly focused on completing interactive and engaging communicative practice in Spanish.

Some Benefits of a Flipped Classroom:
Content is delivered online and students view instructional slides and videos any time of the day and as many times as needed. This helps students become more responsible for their learning.
Students are accustomed to accessing information on personal devices and skilled in various technologies.
Since there are no traditional lectures, there is more time for hands-on, interactive, and communicative language practice.
Students get to work together in teams to put knowledge into practice and negotiate meaning in realistic situations.
The instructor gets opportunities to see students in action and provide live feedback to guide learning.
Helps to increase overall fluency in Spanish.
I understand this Flipped Classroom model may not work for everyone's learning styles, but I believe it is the best way to make the most of the time we have together in our class sessions.
