short zombie film
Camera operator for 2 shooting days
Through my contact at the Engine Room, where I did my BFI short course, I was put in touch with another BFI alumni Melissa McCusker, who last-minute needed a camera operator for her newest short film 'Flytrap'. This was a short zombie film with lots of SFX and makeup team needed. I assisted with 2 filming days and then later attended the screening.

Award Nominee - 2025 UK Film Awards International - Nominated for Best Drama (Short Film Category)
After helping out with Flytrap, Melissa mentioned this next project as another short I could assist on with camerawork. As this was a more personal project for her, she really wanted this to be right and done well, so I was very honoured that she asked me to help on this. We did 3 filming days that all ran smoothly, and then hosted a screening at a local bar once the film was finished.
We then received a nomination at the UK Film Awards for Best Drama (Short Film Category), which was a huge achievement for Melissa and the team, which has now given me recognition on IMDb as a 'Cinematographer'.
