As part of my Level 3 Diploma in Creative Media course, I was expected to complete 30 hours of work experience. I actually completed over 150 hours of work experience during the 12 months, working with several different industry professionals, and covering a wide variety of skills, styles and genres.
I am extremely grateful to all the individuals and companies involved, for giving me their time and generously sharing their expertise. It was wonderful to learn and gain experience under their professional guidance, and I learnt so much by being able to have practical, hands-on opportunities.

My main work experience has been with Harvey Slade of Slade Productions, helping him to film his YouTube Series 'Mint Ville'. I have also done office and administration tasks for local film company MandM Productions. I have worked on several local theatre performances, most notably being 'Follow Spot' for the Wayfarer's Pantomime 'Dick Whittington' at the Brewhouse Theatre, Taunton, and filming several live College Showcases and productions at the McMillan Theatre, Bridgwater.
I have assisted local videographer, Darren Honeywill, to film a local school Dance Showcase.
Since starting Uni, I have gained further work experience with previous, and new, companies and people.
