Got yourself a Rod? Maybe some bait to go along? Congrats! You can now go Fishing!

Most of the time this activity is just a way to gain some extra coin, but with a pond and some luck... Maybe you can get more.

Within Town

Townie Fishers are anyone within the town of Solara and can be of other occupations, though those that are Fishers by occupation will get bonuses.

✦In order to fish at other town locations, Townie Fishers must travel with a Recruit, Hunter, or Bounty Hunter escort in order to cross the Sunswept Wastes safely. This can be bypassed with a train ticket though.

✦ Fishers gain extra Coins and materials if they have a Water Mount to help them do their job!

In the Wastes

Waster Fishers are specially equipped to best fish outside Solara Veil in the wild reaches of the Sunswept Wastes. Pokémon found within in wild waterways are difficult to catch, being wilder and more dangerous than those found within towns.

✦In order to fish across the Sunswept Wastes, Waster Fishers must travel with a Recruit, Hunter, or a Fisher escort to keep safe in the Sunswept Wastes.

✦ Fishers gain extra Coins and materials if they have a Water Mount to help them do their job!

Bonuses

With the basic rod with no attachments or bait, you're not going to catch much. Here's how to get more out of your fishing experience!

Better Tools

Of course, the Better Equipment you use, the better your chances are. All tools can be bought at your local shops.

Baits

Aiming for something specific? Maybe that sparkly fish? Or something extra difficult? Be sure to select the best Bait for your goals!

Water Mounts

Got a ride in the water? Water Mounts will make things easier for you!

Fishing Friends

Cameos within a piece will help boost the rolls a person can get at once, so bring some buddies for a day out! Cameos can include both Player Characters and Pokemon companions but caps at 6.

Occupational

Those who do fishing for a living will have extra experience in catching and will automatically get bonuses for what they catch plus an additional roll for their work.

✦ When cameoed in a submission, a Fisher will provide 2 rolls instead of just the 1. Let's get fishing!

To Keep What You Catch

Caught something interesting? Maybe a pokemon of a Different Color? Maybe some Roe?

In order to have the option to keep anything you catch, you will have to have the means to keep them, thus the Pond Addition on your house comes into play if you've bought it!

✦Be sure to mention owning the pond in your submission for the option to keep the caught pokemon. Should you not have a pond or fail to mention it, Your catch will be sold immediately. You can buy a pond addition for your house at the Arch Guild.

✧ General Requirements & Information

Before making a Fishing Submission, please ensure your Character owns a Rod or Net of some type.

If they are within the Sunswept Wastes, they must also have an appropriate Escort.

Be careful! Injuries can happen!

✧ Submission Requirements

✦ Player Characters and all Cameos must be minimum Half Body with flat colors. They must actively be fishing as well with their tool of choice.

✦ A simple background depicting the area with 3 elements outside of the characters must also be included with flat colors.

Mods encourage creativity!

IMPORTANT NOTE

Activity Submissions are defaulted to Everyday submissions and thus cannot be used as Occupational Pieces as well UNLESS your PC is a Fisher. They can however be used as Heart Events if desired.
