This approach is directed squarely at comprehension and uses a chart to guide therapy. Three categories in the chart are, Know, Want to Learn, and Learned. The client explains what they already know - can be a topic, word or concept - and then elaborates on what they want to learn. After the intervention task or activity, the client can fill in the Learned box. This technique can be used for learning new vocabulary or concepts, is easy to implement and very low cost.
