タイトル：データ同化のエッセンス
アブストラクト：
天気予報に用いられる気象シミュレーションの予測値は，精度を保つために定期的に実観測データで補正される．この補正はデータ同化という統計手法によって行われ，シミュレーションによる予測値と観測データを組み合わせて最良の推定値が計算される．本発表ではデータ同化の基礎的なアイデアと仕組みを紹介し，周辺分野との関係について議論する．

Title: The Essence of Data Assimilation
Abstract:
The forecast values used in meteorological simulations for weather predictions are regularly corrected with actual observational data to maintain accuracy. This correction is performed using a statistical method called data assimilation, which combines simulation predictions with observational data to compute the best estimates. This presentation will introduce the basic ideas and mechanisms of data assimilation and discuss its relationship with related fields.
